Ipod in Car?

Anyone that thinks any bitrate MP3 compares to CD quality is ignorant. If you say "well I can't hear any difference" its because you aren't listening, and most likely do not have a good system.

I agree with jordan, I'm very anal about my stereo.

Then why're you asking for suggestions on a cheap ass deck and speakers in the ICE forum? LOL

The iTrip is shit. FM Modulation in general is shit.

That said, for $30, I would but an aux-in cable. Or save for a new stereo that has an aux in because otherwise its probably not worth anything anyway.

Well I have one and it works just fine even though the antenna is disconnected and laying in the trunk.

On the topic of iPod's, I just got a 512MB iPod Shuffle delivered to my desk. Its not my personal iPod, as I have a 1GB unit coming soon, but its mine to evaluate at work. It's sick! Super slim, light and sounds really great. I can't wait to use my 1GB in the car.

I'm making a flush mount dock for the ashtray area for my iPod. I will eventually have an Alpine deck with iPod adapter. Here are some picks of how the unit is progressing. It still needs to be figerglassed and covered and other stuff. Fit isn't great yet but I can still do some tweaking.
