Ah, I must be thinking of E34 OEM amp's. Those have the built in 10 channel crossover networks.

So the OP's tasks would be to just hookup the OEM speakers using the OEM crossover connections at the speaker itself.

Use the front two channels from your Alpine head unit to power the 2 stock mids and tweeters being sure to use the crossovers mounted to their magnets. Then use the rear two channels to power the coaxial speakers full range.

Would be easiest to buy and run new speaker wire into the kick panels and rear deck lid. Run wires down drivers side to avoid heavy gauge power cable to front.

Dude, you need to pick. I wrote a HUGE bypass thread, I cannot help you if you are unwilling to read it and follow along.

All of these questions have been answered in the bypass thread.

Use the wiring at the amp to do the rears, run new wires to the fronts. The whole goddamn job takes 20 minutes if you don't fuck around posting on R3V.

Quit being worried about it, READ MY THREAD, and go get it done!

The fader cars are covered in depth by several people. Seriously, it is a 20 minute job. I will go edit that first post shortly to alleviate that issue, maybe even link to the other part that covers the "fader" cars.

With Luke's advice, I deleted the fader on mine and unwrapped the wire about 6-8" to reveal the grounds where I needed to connect. The fader is useless since the HU already have that feature.

The speakers crossover is already connected to the premium speaker so it is easy to wire in.
