Central Locking Problems

Its official, car is haunted. Getting a video.

Scrached that, was only opening and closing because the drivers side was open.

Well, the doors lock when I start the car. That is it though. I can't lock or unlock all the doors from anywhere.

Do you have an alarm with a safety feature on it such as it will lock the doors when you drive off?

Theres an after market alarm, but its never been hooked up since i owned the car and never had problems with the locks before.

Looks like you the ECU solonoids are fried.
Was there any water in the footwells where the ecu is located?

The central locking control unit? No it's dry.

Disconnect each accuator one by one, and see if one is causing the problem.

Just started my car, and once I started to go it locked, and unlocked when turned off. So, maybe somethings still hooked up?

That sounds like the same feature my wifes Mercedes has had fitted, so I would start tracing wires from the C/L ecu to see if they lead to another aftermarket unit.

Its funny my aftermarket crap is in my engine bay... got a huge speaker.

So, now I can lock and unlock from drivers door for both doors. Can't unlock/lock from trunk though sadly.

Try another ECU

It was tested before I got it and all the doors works with the one I bought. Plus now I am starting to lose a little coolant
