Shift light from the Si Board/cluster

Has anyone ever entertained the idea of adapting a shift light to be integrated into your instrument cluster? on the SI board you can remove the oil gauge lights and in its place put a sequential shift light instrument.... it would look completely stock. i know people have added boost gauges and voltmeters, but i have yet to see the shift light and I've been looking for one.

In my opinion that would place the shift lights too low. On the top of the dash is ideal, but the electronic dashes that have them along the top of the display works pretty well.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

I think its a little low also but if the last light is red and bright enough you'd be able to see it fine without really looking for it. i think the shift lights on the dash are kind of tacky and a bit ugly. I was going for sleek and clean.

That M20 Stroker video that was all over the Facebook group about a month ago had the Shift Light mod in the Cluster. Looked great.

I could make you something like this and even replace the red light with a much brighter one so that its easier to see red line indication. It wont be cheap tho. PM me if interested.

I think it would be easy to adapt an already made shift light.
