Here's mine. Tweeters... are tweeters for now. I'm going to front mount them soon to prevent the problems grills create for high frequency. Rear speakers are some Pioneers I've had for awhile (very low gain, just for rear passengers). The subwoofer is removable by the release of the clamp for ease of using the pass-through.

      Nice install guys.

Anybody tried putting the tweeters on the A-pillar?

      Who's using sound deadening?

I have a few square feet of Extreme in my car, drivers and passenger floorboards, rear firewall and rear deck.

It is sandwiched in the rear with 1/2" MDF formed to fit. Sounds like concrete when you knock on it.

Don't really know if it helped, but the definition is excellent in the bass in my car. No ringing at all when you pause the song.

          Hey Luke.

Haven't seen the passenger floorboards of my e30. You didn't dynamat the doors?

I have not yet Dynamatted the doors, as I have not yet decided if I am going to shave the handles, or just the locks.

I am still finishing the alarm on the E30, so I have not yet driven it with the Dynamat. Sure seems quieter just driving it back and forth from the parking lot to the shop...

                      I think that's a 7894. I love Alpine decks myself, especially the old ones: 9815, 7998r, etc. :D

                        Luke,

I'm dying to put dynamat in my car. Quite curious on how it will somehow lessen the noise from the exhaust (which is music to my ears actually) so I can actually listen to what my deck is playing... :D

didnt have no pics, but if u can find a back dash with bmw premium sound grilles, 5x7's will fit snuggly under the waffles.with mine i cut a hole in the middle of the back dash and a matching in the metal under it and put 3 5x7's in and it looks very stock. i recommend doing this

You need one for the dome light? And hood release? Got something custom planned? And why do you need a relay for honk? Doesn't the alarm system have one built in?

Domelight Surveillance is where the alarm turns your inside lights on for 1 minute or until you turn the key on when you disarm/unlock

Yeah, I have a Honda starter solenoid mounted underhood with a cable going to the hood latch...just not quite enough torque yet. Might have to do block and tackle, or find a beefier solenoid.

No, the horn honk output is a 500mA output, and since I have to run the horn directly (as I want to keep it "key on") I need a relay.

It is finally all done, with the exception of hood pop and motorized trunklid. I just do not like that the remote start turn the stereo on when running on remote start...so I am going to re-engineer the "Retained Accessory Power" setup. It also runs the windows, so that is even nicer IMO.
