Any models that have remotes look better than soap bar leftover? Maybe like old DEI rectangular 2 button style?
Thanks.

pictures aren't really needed its pretty self explanatory:
Car Wire -- Keyless Wire -- Function
Brown -- Black -- Ground
Red -- Red -- 12V
Green/Black -- Green -- Lock
Green/Purple -- Blue -- Unlock
The brown, green/black, & green/purple wires are behind the panel in the trunk behind the trunk key hole, the red wire is on the drivers side trunk panel connected to the antenna
You should be able to complete this in 20 minutes if you have no experience at all, 10 minutes if you are familiar with this stuff
its super easyLeave a comment:

I was considering getting this but ended up getting this system instead:

All keyless entry systems use the same type of wiring, you don't have to connect everything so that one will work fine
$20 more but a better looking remote and a more reputable brand, well worth it in my opinionLeave a comment:

This thing lasted a month. Now it open the lock but won't close them. Cheap stuff IMO.Leave a comment:

Bump! Original link no worky!
Looking to pick up a cheap, "plug and play" set from ebay that will work with central locking, etc.
I'll look through the install guide, after I get direction on which kit to purchase for my '91 318is :)
Thanks!Leave a comment:
