That really looks MUCH better than stock.

I did the tuck procedure on a Wolfsburg Edition VW Cabrio that i had 15 years ago, but it never occurred to me to tuck my e30 bumpers.

I bought a plastic bumper car last weekend, but I may still pick up the white es that I've been looking at.

As a very wise man once said - one e30 is never enough.

      I think I said that.

      I'm not wise.

I've heard of idiots backing into walls to try to get the rear bumpers to tuck.

When I saw the procedure done, they didn't go in at first....they had to drill ALL the way through before the shocks would compress.

AFAIK, the late model cabrio bumper shocks are also shorter than the standard e30.

I believe the preffered wall according to the writeup is a Safeway. There are two Albertson's that closed in town recently, I might have to try those, should be less conspicuous. (sp?)

Oh I didn't know it was in a writeup. A friend told me this story about a kid trying to tuck his bumpers....so he backed into a wall at a high rate of speed and ended up damaging his car.

I'm not a big fan of chrome wheels or body kits, but your car works.

Definitely a BIG improvement over the original look.
