I know the u clamps around the headrest posts are really tight on mine. It's not moving. As long as the headrest itself doesnt bounce around, and your tubing is strong enough there should be no problems. For a heavier camera, even some steel 1x1 could be used, I used aluminum because its lighter and easier to work with for the v1.0 mount (mine :P). A quality tripod head that doesn't bounce the camera at all either would help, mine was a cheapo one so i just put a roll of tape around the camera to keep it from shaking. The swing up release part so I can get at the thumb screw for the camera mount shakes a little, but Chris' doesn't. He bought a better one :)Comment

heres another video this is a bit more rocky terrain lol but it seems to hold up pretty well, especially if i had a better camera

i was going to point this out. i had it originally on the pass seat until one day i realized, helmet and all, this thing is going to impale me one day so i moved it to the driver's side. Problem with this was, with passengers, DE instructors and stuff i couldn't use it.. i'm getting a cage soon so problem solved ;)No more e30s for me.

you can get footage. that, i've done.. but driving with a lance at your side freaks them out. hell, it freaked me, hence i put it on the driver's seat. Its just unsafe for whomever faces the tip of it imo.No more e30s for me.

if you have a passanger, BUT you have rear head rest's this would be able to mount on the rear headrests. just would need to zoom in further.
