Bump. I'm trying to get the Z3M seats in the car and this question is on my mind again. Anyone know if Vaders are the same as z3m seats?

Sorry to resurrect this, but does anyone know if these dimensions are the same for Z3M seats (very similar)? If so, that would be awesome and really make things easy for me. If not, I will get under there and do the measurements. TIA

I wish I could do this but every set I find is $1000 or more lol. But dang they look good.

Does anyone happen to still have the v2 dimensions?

Cant seem to find a pre-made set in Australia and shipping prices make purchasing them from the states a little expensive.

Yes, takes a different style bracket design though.

We just had 2 sets made up of the new vert design for testing. All I can say is that even with the new design its a very tight fit but can be done.

Will a vader fit into a vert though? Physicaly? Because I'm able to make my own brackets. I just don't have vaders yet to try with.

I dont think convertibles are able to take advantage of these brackets. I have a vert and a coupe. The vert is a couple inches narrower in the floor board because of added rails bmw placed on the side of the car to stiffen the chassis. I couldnt fit the vader seats in the convertible, but didnt want to redesigned the brackets either. At the time, it seemed like it would be a lot of trouble, so I stopped.

They sit slightly higher due to the way they are built but not substaintally. I'm 6ft an sit comfortably in my seats.

With the seat in this position, does the centre of the seat line up with the centre of the steering wheel?

Just finished installing these suckers tonight. Those brackets made this a breeze!

I'll post another pick of the modified seat belt rod soon. I made it so that it attaches to the bolt coming through the adapter plate nearest the original mounting point.
