I agree. The signal light kinda "crowds" the front end when they're on.
Looking forward to nighttime shots. Will make up my mind if i should get hids for the fogs too.
Good to know. And it'll still blink? Awesome.Leave a comment:

well the even easier way to do it is just tape over the contact on the back of the bulb for the running filament with some electrical tape. :)I will get those nite shots soon... maybe tonight.
I actually rigged a switch that kills the power wire (I think, maybe the ground) on the running light in the turn signal housing. One of those "reversible" mods that I can change on the fly for whatever stupid reason. I really like the look of just the headlight projectors and fogs illuminated at night - so clean.Leave a comment:

Nice write up. Can't wait to try it myself. I also like the budget-oriented kit...Leave a comment:

Great write up on the fogs. I've been waiting to see something like that.
How about a tip or link on how to get the turn signals to be off when the lights are turned on?Leave a comment:

Damn, that's definitely worth it. Time to get myself into a late model setup front end...Good news guys... this can be done in a quality fashion on the cheap.
The 2 (read: TWO!!) light kits I got were from DDM Tuning and they were like $130 for the pair roughly. Throw in a few bucks for the stainless attaching hardware and assorted electrical connectors I got at the hardware store, maybe $145 all said and done, including the cost of the root beer, hehe.
Thanks. Now onto those night pictures.Leave a comment:

Looks great! Once I fix my engine, I can try to paint my bumpers, then I'm surely going to do this. Now that I'm making money again, it might actually happen.Leave a comment:

Nice man.
How much did you spend total to go from regular bulbs to HIDS? (HID kit + miscellaneous items)
Have any night pictures?Leave a comment:
