yes. its a dual filament bulb, with power given only to the blinking filament when the stalk is switched. so you can block the always running filament, then it will still blink the brighter one with your signals activated.

I agree. The signal light kinda "crowds" the front end when they're on.

Looking forward to nighttime shots. Will make up my mind if i should get hids for the fogs too.

I actually rigged a switch that kills the power wire (I think, maybe the ground) on the running light in the turn signal housing. One of those "reversible" mods that I can change on the fly for whatever stupid reason. I really like the look of just the headlight projectors and fogs illuminated at night - so clean.

Nice write up. Can't wait to try it myself. I also like the budget-oriented kit...

The 2 (read: TWO!!) light kits I got were from DDM Tuning and they were like $130 for the pair roughly. Throw in a few bucks for the stainless attaching hardware and assorted electrical connectors I got at the hardware store, maybe $145 all said and done, including the cost of the root beer, hehe.
Damn, that's definitely worth it. Time to get myself into a late model setup front end...

Thanks. Now onto those night pictures.

Looks great! Once I fix my engine, I can try to paint my bumpers, then I'm surely going to do this. Now that I'm making money again, it might actually happen.

    Nice man.

How much did you spend total to go from regular bulbs to HIDS? (HID kit + miscellaneous items)

    Have any night pictures?
