Is an 88 considered a late model tank? Or early? Or its own. My tank is bigger supposedly.

Grizzly, I got an e30 tank from Autozone. If I remember right, I paid less than $200, and had it the next day.

would you guys know if you could fit a e36 tank on a 1990 e30?
I've been looking in my area for a tank but I cant find one, and I'm not looking to dish out the 600 bavauto wants....

I've only called a coupple scrap yards and they dont have one, but I know the E36 tank was plastic so I was thinkin in the long run this would be a better swap...

Did my install and YaY! The 89 325is that sat dead for 10+ years is alive!!
Here is what I used that came with the kit. $55 shipped, not a Wal but performs the same.
Here's the pics, notice the suction hole on the high flow compared to stock.
    (Sry phone pics)

Notice the opening in the bracket needs to be trimmed away to accept the larger opening.

finished setup, I chose to unsolder the old wires and solder my new ones in, you may want to splice the existing wires.

Seriously, stay away from the TRE pumps. i've run a couple of them that both failed on different cars in short order. TRE's customer service was horrible and they didn't honor their warranty. Ive run quite a few more walbro's without fail for years, they are more than worth the extra 20$ or so.
