    325is exhaust on a 325e

So my 325e didn't came with a muffler just a busted cat.

I got a used 325i(is) manifold-back exhaust in pretty good shape.

    Anybody with a 325i(is) exhaust on a 325e?

A lot of modification, if any, to make it fit?

    Thanks,

It would be better to use the i manifolds as well, the exits are different sizes, but in your favor if you use the eta manifolds. As far as under the car, all the mounts are the same providing you haven't lost anything with your current system lol.

I do have the eta manifolds installed. So I would have to modify the manifold/cat to make it work then?

All the hangers and mounts are in pretty good shape.

ETA engine needs it's intake opened up first, not the exhaust. Auto/manual cats are different. There's an extra bracket for the automatics. I also remember having to change the rear muffler hangers for some reason.

It'll work with ETA manifolds with some fiddling around but the i manifolds would be the ones to use. Larger ports and the flanges are angled different.

reelizmpro, I'm not sure I follow on the:

            Could you please elaborate?

It will work fine. It's not like the stock 325i exhaust is the best flowing exhaust in the universe or something. bolt it up and be happy. :)
