you should do a clip while your car is under a load. like do a fly by rather than r3ven on it. plus its in the garage so it could resenate or echo in there..

I was up above it, Now I'm down in it ~ Entropy - A Build thread.

So, the way yours is now, with the 14815, 22" Resonator and Catco cat, it's loud, but not unbearable - such as highway driving? I was thinking of doing the Catco with the 14815 - but that'll probably be too loud, huh? Most likely similar to yours without a cat.

too loud!!!???? are you trying to be a ninja or something? huge 22in muff and before that a resonator and before that a cat? geezus that's over kill IMO. I'm getting a 18in magnaflow, with a 14x4in round muffler single 2.5 and i think it'll be perfect. before that i had headers straight to a 14in brullen, now that's loud!!!

First off, the 'muff' is 14" in length, the resonator is long but it provides a good, deep tone. The addition of the catalytic converter was mostly because of NC Inspection, didn't know anybody that could pass me at the time. Along with this, it shuts it up a little. I like sound, but I'm not a fan of obnoxious.

I am running a straight 2.5 open right under the subframe without any type of resonator or cat, everyone says its sounds scary.

yes my old exhaust was obnoxious loud but i kinda liked it like that, now my new exhaust is going to have a bigger muffler and resonator which will tone it down quite a bit but not kill the sound, i want to be able to hear my exhaust still

So, are there any nice 2.5" inlet magnaflows with tips? The 2.25" inlet is a deal breaker for me :(

                Keep it slideways!!

sadly no, there are mufflers for every configuration you can think of and then add whatever tips you like.

Again, I wasn't driving...Actually wasn't even in my car. Let my father drive it that day, that's Dave ('sidewaysdave') doing the camera work.

As far as the droning...it is there, I don't typically roam around 1,500-2,500 too often..So, I don't mind it. It makes a nice exploding sound at WOT. Nothing ridiculous, just a pleasing note.

Tires are BFG gForce Sports, relatively cold on a cool day. I believe he lifts on one of those last corners. That's probably some of your squealing.

Would a dual in and dual out mangaflow be better for an i instead of putting the y pipe in?
