Ultimate Headers Low Profile Clamps

Has anyone tried these clamps?

They look like just what I need for my IE long tube headers. Using the flat band clamps now and no matter what I do to seal them up, they continue to leak eventually.

Saw these Ultimate Headers low profile clamps...

$200 isn't really what I was hoping to spend, but tired of the leaks.

It would probably be not only more effective but cheaper to have a shop weld some v-band flanges on your exhaust system for you.

Right, but all the v-band clamps are too thick and I lose 1/2" of clearance, hence the reason I'm looking for a lower profile clamp.

I'm at 3 1/2" now and 3" from the ground is just not enough for me to be comfortable with driving on the street.
