When buying off ebay, what am I looking for to know that they will fit my motor? I see tons of 30lb injectors on there, but I'm not sure about fitment and such.

basically google the part # and look for the impedance. If its around 14 your good (assuming the shape is the same as stock)

I have seen it many times on ebay where injectors are advertised at 30Lb, 42LB, ext ext and in fact they are not

Use this as a guide to cross reference the part # as well as many other specs

Just be careful with those tips! I used those that came in a rebuild kit and one of the blue tips came loose in the chamber and wouldn't let the gas from the injector reach the combustion chamber. I had to remove the intake manifold to get it out.

In other words, make sure they are on there good.

                    im confused

so ive got the stock '89i head, victor reinz factory HG, and metric blues torqued to 80ft. lbs., 24# mustang injectors (just to get started), and im currently running Aeromotive Stealth 340lph fuel pump, factory fpr 3.0 bar, ive got an AEM eugo digital widevand boost controller set for 10% duty cycle of 10psi(just to get started), plugs gapped to .032, i havent put an adjustable fpr on return line post-stock fpr yet, should I? Also when adjusting the AFM do I need to put the idle screw all the way in before I start adjusting the tension on the wheel/flap? I've researched this but still don't quit understand. Running ebay 6:2:1 turbo S.S. turbo manifold with a junky hand me down turbo from a buddys old turbo kit he bought and never used the turbo, its like somw japanese t3/t4 hybrid with an a/r of .50. So basically I just need to tweak my AFM spring tension and adjust the FMU to match a 14.7-15.2 sweeping idle and a solid 12.5 at WOT? Is it really this easy and I'm just making it difficult for myself buy replacing parts that don't matter?

A couple errors on your build.

                        1) Victor Reinz headgaskets are garbage. Expect to replace it very soon.

                        2) 80lbs is way to much. Thats why people snap them and complain they are crap. You don't see people torquing ARPs to 80lbs do you? I torque my blues to 65lbs. I'd buy another set of bolts when you replace that garbage headgasket with a Goezte or Elring.

                        3) .032 might be too much of a gap on a boosted car without an MSD unit. Go with .028 to start.

                        4) I did not see anything about a timing retard chip on your parts list. There is a pretty good write up on e30tech on how to tune a AFM for boost.

                        5) You need a rising rate FPR for boosted cars. You can usually find a Begi unit used for pretty cheap.
