Its not worth arguing but I just find my m50 indefinitely easier to work on.

Ready for motor to go in but I need to get a clutch first and possibly replace my trans seals. Also need new motor mounts.

Loving that engine bay! So clean looking. Once again, if I had another car, mine would be getting done like this.

I got them from dude who went to solid mounts on his swap, not sure what they are but they have like metal cups without sides that the rubber sits into. Ill get pics.

Got some sheet metal, gonna go a little further on my engine bay shave since I have some extra time. Gonna do some stuff like custom headlight covers and stuff. Also ordered my boost, oil pressure, and wideband gauges

Cleaned up the wiring with some wiring loom, zip tied it out of the way, shaved the coolant tank mounts and such. Make some metal headlight covers. Cold pipe mocked up here.

Absolutely looks 'budget' with some of those welds/fabricating skillz. For you first time, that isnt the worst work I've ever seen. Good luck though, I'll be putting my M52 in my Alpine within the next month or two. Turbo will come with the funds.

Im guessing you are talking about the manifold? Yeah its a hack job but its fully sealed and reinforced. I honestly plan on replacing it if I ever go with a MLS gasket and studs for higher boost. And your damn straight its budget haha.

Got my wideband/boost/oil pressure gauges. Made a gauge panel out of some sheet metal, most likely gonna paint it black

Is that a 3 inch harness? Good move, I need to look into getting some for my car.

Whats up with this though? A delete I assume?
