Dude the M30 is stupid simple design. It's 6 manly men inside the block pushing up and down on the cylinder with Hercules-like force.

I'm interested.....and will buy after I see what is included in pics.
What rear end are you guys using? think i might trade for a 3.73. I got a 2.93 for when I planned on driving to ca but the cars kind of a slug off the line now.
I'm swapping to a 3.73 or 3.64 (currently run a 4.27) as apparently the motor / turbo combo runs out of legs at Bathurst on the SHORT straight :) Straight at Eastern Creek is pretty long too and if I can hold 4th at Wakefield will be a bit better overall.
No problem, good to see you are still going ahead with yours. I strayed.....but I'm back in a big way. Manifold looks like it has come out great! Very compact. I had to go with a different design to get the turbo to fit.
I've just finished prepping the block. Was previous drilled and tapped to M12 studs (out of an M30) but these had been over torqued. I have drilled and tapped the block to take oversize M12 rolled threaded inserts. This is stronger again than the M12 studs. You can also see the O-Ring setup for the copper head gasket:
