    Just what I was gonna say. Blowing a head gasket saved you from destroying a piston. Make sure you get a wideband and a tune before you even drive it.

      We used to call the head gasket a boost fuse back in the day lol.

          There are no mixed thoughts.
          One is cheaper, requires more labor, technically stronger and is an old hot-rod thing.
          Other is more expensive, requires a completely flat head/block, and is also definitely power-capable.
