250 whp is honestly a cake walk for a forced induction m20. get a decent holset, run some delphi 42s, ms, headstuds and a mls and you can make 250 wheel with like 6-8lbs of boost. im running metric blues, have heard of 400hp strip guys running metric blues, its hit and miss. good cheap alternative but in effect is precisely that, 'cheap'.'89 Delphin 2.8 Cabrio

I liftedy my head with metric blues at 1bar and hydro locked my SETA. Of course I was a dumb ass and used a VR head gasket. Also I've heard first hand metric blues have slightly smaller threads and can strip the treads in the block. 42lb injectors or cheap and easy to get. I say before you do ANYTHING ELSE get a wide band sensor and get use to megasquirt.
