I would probably be the other way around, and prefer ps over a/c.

Problem is the charger moves the alternator down and doesn't allow room for the PS. The AC is just an issue of the crank pulley, which we are looking into. So the likely hood of PS early on isn't very good.

We could run PS and eliminate the alternator ;)

A/C and PS are both mandatory. There isn't much point in buying someone's kit if they haven't worked out how to keep them.

I'd be interested if you ever figure it out, though.

I think there is plenty of point in the kit without PS. And the price will likely have to increase when AC is available. Many people run there cars without both of these things. We understand that it is desirable to have them in the long run but in no way do I think it is a requirement. There are people on this forum that sell block off plates for power steering so, there are plenty of people that run their cars without it, with no added power as a benefit.

It would be great so you can let the R3v community know if the kit is good or bad in person.
nice..lemme know,i was just about to start my own kit ;D and I dont give a shit about AC or PS!

what size diameter crank pulley are you putting in the kit, and if it is 6", then could I purchase just the pulley, as I have fabricated everything else-just missing the correct size pulley! I am in UK. thanks, ash

I believe that it is 6" or 6.5" but yes we could certainly manufacture the pulley for you and ship. We will get you more info on that very soon.

As for updates we should hopefully have some this weekend, the snow and other events have slowed us down this week.

i would prefer having the ac vs ps. i dont have power steering now in both my e30 and e21. but the summer months in Arkansas suck. i plan on getting ac to work in one of my cars. or buying another daily that has ac

you can use an electric power steering pump so that is not a big deal so just delete that and someone could use i think its an electric pump out of an MR2 if im not mistaken.

                            I'd prefer S/C over turbo.

Another vote for retention of A/C and P/S.

Still here, it's been busy and hard to get back into the shop. Been driving the supercharged car around for two weeks now with no problems aside from running a bit too rich. Designed an e36 TPS adapter for my megasquirt setup to tune a little better and I am just waiting for it to come in the mail from the 3d printer. We have a dyno lined up to use just waiting to hear back from the owners on a date. Glad you guys are still interested! Can't wait to get some numbers for you!

Here's the TPS adapter I'm having made!

Good to know this is still in the works.

Any further idea of pricing and ability of keeping AC / PS?
