    Cam For turbo Build

Im rebuilding an 885 head, and the time has come to determine what to do with the cam. I can either refurbish my stock one, buy a new stock one, or for about the same price get a 272 from IE.

does anyone have any experience/insights on what I should do here?

(my build plans: Revshift full manifold, HX35, IE HD rockers, O-ring block, goetze head gasket, MS2 from whodwho)

    Im looking for about 375-400hp

There is the PPF Z45 turbo cam I believe was supposed to be good. Also expensive but I can't find a site for it.

A couple more cams below from catcams specifically for turbo. I need to research more to determine what cam would be good for the application.

No one makes this car anymore. The government won't allow them, normal people won't buy them. So it's up to us: the freaks, the weirdos, the informed. To buy them, to appreciate them, and most importantly, to drive them.

I've read plenty of people in sweden making up to 650 WHP with this cam coupled with proper setup cam timing.

The next turbo build I do will definitely be utilizing this cam if funds allow for it.

The Z45 cam has been a goto for years. The catcams options are good as well.

Nevermind...the Bimmerheads 272 is from a billet core.

Get an Ireland regrind, I love mine and it's under 200. I pretty much kept a 276 profile and gave it more lift, since you're more choked in mass flow with boost.

I'll be contacting Bimmerheads when I get a cam. For now, I'm too lazy to pull the head.
