    no, i'm not sure what they were after. my car is usually in it but since i was planning on doing work on it, it was in the shop. The car inside was just being stored out of the way for a few days. My slicks and skinnies were inside the trailer though, so those might turn up for sale one day.

    Fresh head is together, waiting on new lash caps for the solid lifters after initial check with the new fat cat cams. The turbo should be here any day so I can build the new manifold. Waiting and waiting.

    Why in gods name did you use a set of used stock valves on an engine that you are clearly going balls-to-the-walls with? A couple hundred bucks and you wouldn't have to be re-doing all of this.

    Yea, it was just a random set of stock valves that has seen lots and lots of rpm and rev limit at 8400rpm on hydraulic lifters. They were well passed their intended life span apparently.

    Made over 1000whp on the dyno, dropped a stock valve and ate the motor.

    Small update to the e30 life.
    Block is at the machine shop. Waiting to get the turbo back from Comp for upgrades.
