What if one were to ditch the oil cooler gut the thermostatic part of the oil filter housing and just run the turbo lines in and out from there?

so you want to add a turbo to your car, which can double the stress and heat put through your motor, and you want to remove the oil cooler instead of just tapping the pan?

I just read this thread so far.

If someone is so fucking lazy in their turbo build that they don't wanna drop the pan to do the return line...well, that car is never gonna get done.
