Finally getting the car sent to the Dyno next week and I’m running into last minute problems. Installed the diy boost control solenoid to a 12v power source and the other side to pin 7 “boost” on my ms2 pnp.
When I turn on the input under “programmable On/Off Inputs”, burned it to the car and turned on the accessory power with the key, my car freaked out. The RPM gauge started bouncing at 7,000 rpms, fuel pump kept turning on and I got this error.
This same thing happened when I tried to install an electric fan and found out I was limited because I installed wasted spark on pins 14-17. Apparently that kills my output 1 and 2. Now today after installing my BCS the car is acting the same.
Final questions. 1. Is boost, #7 the correct output for the solenoid and is it grounded to ecu? 2. Do I have to enable boost control under inputs and what other setting do I need to create under active settings. 3. Is my wasted spark interfering with my boost control input like it was with the fan control I attempted recently. If it’s not wasted spark why is my rpm gauge freaking out when I try and set this up? 4. How do I get this working?
