    external coil igniter question M20

I want to keep OEM Bosch coil but Haltech ECU can't drive it. Any recommendations for good external igniter module that would work nicely with OEM coil?

    Thanks

basically I'm looking for a reliable single channel external igniter. I could built my own with something like OnSemi EcoSPARK IGBT but my hands are already full with this Haltech to 55 pin PNP solution so I'd prefer just to buy the unit

yep, ive used one of them to drive an old coil on a suzuki sierra.

There's loads of different types of them of varying amount of chanels that will work but there are two main differences. Some ignitors have the dwell time built into it, but you want a "dumb" one that doesnt (the 124) so you can set the dwell yourself in the ecu.

not sure if this is the same link as yours but it explains it here,
