    E30 not US instrument cluster

US cluster has check engine light which is orange. Does the same spot on non US cluster is Green with no symbol? Is that's where CEL light is and its green???

Edit: from my research that CEL light is green on non US cluster for diesel only.

pretty sure it is the same orange assuming you mean the one related to the check panel near the rear vision mirror?

I have Alpina non US cluster and I connected check engine light CEL pin 15 in 55 pin to Haltech for CEL output per wiring diagrams. But in Alpina cluster that spot is green. Just blank green with no circle like in diesel e30 but just blank green. Does Euro e30 has CEL light? what pin in 55 connector?

As far as I know euro cars didn't have check engine lights. Maybe someone with a euro spec 325i can verify.

looks like this is correct based on German user manual. Oh well, Haltech will have to display DTCs as a green light

You can change the overlay by sliding it out the side. Just swap in the US " check engine " overlay.
