I was disassembling my m20’s cylinder head and I realized I cracked it where the rocker arm goes through. I was wondering if it’s fixable or should I just buy another head?

I've had one much worse than that
(timing belt special)
repaired, and it held up fine in a street car.
If you can find a competent welder who is comfortable
with aluminum castings, my friend Jon said it was very
straightforward to grind away and reweld.

now, sometimes I just mess with people. It's more entertaining that way. george graves

I wonder how did it crack? Did you beat on it to get it out? I noticed one thing on those shafts during the disassembly which when addressed, allows you to just slide it out with your hand. Rocker retaining clips over time create little raised bur on those retaining slots in the shaft. Rockers are very snug on the shaft and that bur will keep them from sliding off. Just run a little high grit sand paper on the shaft till you can feel to burr with your nail near the slot and it will come apart without any hammers
