Are these repairable / worth something to anyone?

So I'm refreshing my SETA M20 and in the process, was thinking about doing the i "stroker" conversion. I have most of the parts needed for that, and the last bits were the head internals (dual valve springs and i cam).
I saw a used 885 head on Ebay and figured at $220 shipped to my door, it wouldn't hurt to take a chance as everything looked intact and clean-ish since I really only needed springs and cam and could have spare rockers, and a possible spare head that may need some minor repair.

I ended up buying it and won't get into all the details of how it was horrible packed, but upon tear down of this head...the cam is unbelievably scored.

I'm now not going to use any of the parts here and call it a loss (trying to communicate with the seller now to see if they are willing to refund me some before I try to report it to Ebay, but if not...whatever. lesson learned.)

Anyway, I was wondering, is the cam and/or head worth anything to anyone? I'm not trying to sell it, more like instead of me throwing it in the trash, would a machine shop want this to try to restore, etc. Every cam bearing journal is heavily grooved like the picture.

Also...anyone got a spare stock i cam (or slighlty more aggresive) they'd want to sell to me for a reasonable price? 😬🙏

You might could get with Bimmerheads and see if they can repair it. Send them pictures via email. Or maybe MR 325 could give some insight.

Everything is fixable with time and money, but with how cheap 885 heads are, that's probably trash.

Springs, seats, rockers, rocker shafts, and valves may be reusable though. Good luck getting your money back!

If the head is otherwise really good (uncut and not warped) then putting bearings into it might be worth the effort.
        But otherwise, probably not.
I have a couple of M10 heads with damaged journals- one of these decades I may tool up to try to fix them,
but it seems like demand has never outstripped supply... so far.
