Charcoal Canister, cause of warm hard start?

I have a very odd warm hard start.

After driving the car if I shut it off and wait 20 minutes to multiple hours the car will crank for 5-10 seconds before it starts. This timely warm hard start is repeatable every time.

I don't think the Charcoal Canister has ever been changed (hasn't been changed the last 21 years I have taken care of this car and I don't think my Dad, which was the original owner, changed it either).

Per the Bentley manual it states "A faulty Charcoal Canister or Bypass valve can cause hard warm engine starting or erratic idle if the fuel vapors are drawn into the engine at the wrong time"

*Side note, I felt under it and the foam filter crumbled out of it, hopefully I did not cause more harm?

*Also, I am not looking to delete it, I would only replace it with a new one.

*Another question, is it easily replaceable if I drove the front of the car on ramps? Could I reach it and replace it?

Lastly, I know some will try to be helpful with other suggestions to fix this odd warm hard starts. Let me just share everything that has already been replaced

    1)Fuel Injectors
    2) Air Flow Meter
    3) Exterior Fuel Pump and Fuel Filter
    4) In Tank Fuel Pump
    5) Blue Temp Sensor
    6) Crank Position Sensor
    7) ECU
    8) Fuel Pressure Regulator
    9) Checked Fuel Pressure and it holds
    10) Smoke test done and no leaks (hopefully I don't now have a leak with the Charcoal Canister bottom filter crumbling)

With all that being said, thoughts on the Charcoal Canister being the cause of my warm hard start especially with the Bentley quote I provided?

    A new canister costs $420.

There was a post somewhere here about refilling the canister in one of the restoration threads.
    Maybe, Jordan's. https://www.r3vlimited.com/board/for...318is-restomod

most likely cause is leaking injectors. especially if they've never been upgraded or replaced. refurbished ones aren't always gonna cut it.

Thank you, but I unfortunately been through 2 sets of injectors with the same results

well that sucks. only happens on warm? most everything else i can think of happens even cold. i wonder if pulling the evap valve off the hose and letting it vent to air would make a difference. at least that way it might identify the issue.
