    ITBs and brake booster

With ITB setup, vacuum booster gets its vacuum from only one runner, #3 cyl in the case of RHD ITBs. Rama states in his instructions that vacuum from one cylinder is such stronger than the vacuum block... which makes sense.
Does this mean that the check valve with open/close open close or pulsate with every closure of that intake valve? Unlike with the vacuum from one TB where the valve remains open while the engine is running and only closes when it's off.
I had new ATE check valve just felt apart internally within 1k miles so I wonder if I need more robust valve or if it was just a defective check valve.
