I'm gonna order one up once i get my tax refund back. I'll do some gas mileage comparisons and post them up. I'm excited to get rid of the old style MAF.

in about 2-3 weeks I'm going to film some more 0-60 runs. The differences this time will be headers, magnaflow muffler, miller maf, much bigger K&N air filter, and a 4.27 z3 torsen diff.
I'll compare it to my old 0-60 videos and see where things have improved. Really hoping for a solid sub 7 second time (average 0-60 with old setup was 7.2-7.3)but I doubt thats going to happen.

I don't know, the 4hp22 is used in a lot of cars. it's probably not an easy part to find though..

I've been looking into this, and I think the best reason I can come up with for the war chip is you can run your car on e85 or gas by switching fuel maps (assuming you put in big enough injectors to run e85, 19# are just barely big enough).

I emailed them a horrendously long list of questions, and apparently you can shut off O2 sensor response on a per tune basis, which would be perfect for this.
Throw in an LC1 and gauge for monitoring, fake narrowband output to motronic, and have it ignore the input on the e85 map.

The MAF ship doesn't really say you need to run 91octane. Should be able to run 87octane with the stock injectors just fine. I've ran a few tanks of 87 through with no difference.

Can one run 19lb injectors (the ford ones) with the stock m20 afm to improve overall driveability? Or does it have to be paired with the miller maf/chip.

you need a chip for 19lbs injectors.

you'd run pretty rich with just the injectors.

I gotcha, does it have to be the War chip? I have the standard 6900 revlimit chip. I couldn't tell which one I had when I opened my ecu. I was told it was one of the first chips that came out for the e30s.

Not true, you can run a stock car with the 19# injectors, the DME will self adjust. It improves fuel economy as it has a better atomization rate/spray pattern.

Eventually, and sort of. Also, each time your battery dies, or gets disconnected, you start from square one.

Might as well tell people to tune with a narrowband.

It's better to set it up for the injector size up front.
