      Ok. That makes sense. However, I'm fairly certain classing is based on standard equipment. So once you put an LSD in then your car is considered an IS, which would bump you up to TTE.

        Ignoring the cosmetic differences, yeah that's the only functional difference (also very small spring rate increase, like 10% or something).

        "i"s had optional LSDs but the is came with them stock.

            That's retarded. A base class jump due mainly to an LSD? TTF** to TTE is 6 points. An is LSD worth 6 points? But springs/shocks are only 5. That makes sense.


            And m50 e30 getting bumped from TTE* to TTD? That's a 13 point bump...

              I spoke to Greg C, NASA national TT director and there is no official word on swap, however based on the new hp/weight ratios it looks like getting an M50 swapped car in TTE is going to be pretty tough.
