Is a 19# fuel injector a 19# fuel injector? or do I need to watch out for different nozzles, plug connectors and brands?

I called Mark D and he convinced me to go with 17# injectors. He said that part of the reason he made the chip for the 19# is because that is the size the Mustang uses which should make them more available /cheaper. Looks like im going to be looking for some 17#ers thanks for the confirmation though

WRONG, post a dyno sheet with AFR please. ;) Stock ecu will run about 10.5 AFR with 19lb injectors.

dont waste your money unless you get a fuel pressure reg the maf doesnt adjust to the large amont of fuel the bads are 1 the engine light stays on 2 car runs to rich and 3 the car losses power low end i hear alot of buzz about these but honestly my car felt better with 13lb

Part # for the 17lb injectors?

RealOEM has 13641730060 for a part# on M50 injectors off a '95 E34. I would look at my own injectors which are on the car, but a giant aluminum crab is guarding them :(

you don't have to remove anything but the injector harness and fuel rail to get at the injectors. taking the valve cover out of the way helps though.

Do these have the 4 pintle design? The realoem ones. I found them but just curious.

No they would be single pintle design II and that is the BMW part number. It is virtually meaningless to anybody but the dealership's part system or a vendor that uses the BMW system. The bosch number for a design III (newer with a better spray pattern and four pintle tip)

An M50 runs at 3.5 BAR fuel pressure where as an M20 only runs 3.0 BAR so an injector that flows 17.5 lb/hr at 3.5 BAR will only flow 16.2 lb/hr at 3.0 BAR keep that in mind.
