about done with bmw's all together

just had new rod and main bearing put in and had all parts of my m20 inspected and came out fine,

    my new problems

    1. messed up on oil pan gasket and oil has been leakin for 3 month and new my low oil sensor comes on, so i add 2 courts of of the same oil i have always ran. 10w40 mobile, FULL SYNTHETIC

    2. about a hour later the oil pressure lite comes on and off severral time, when i rev up it goes off, but as soon ask car gets to temp, it stays on.

    3. oil goes a bit low so i decide to put some lucos [non synthetic] in to fix oil pressure problem and it does,

    4. engine is knocking and loud chatter,

what the hell is going on????????????
i do so much work and cant affored this shit anymore, somone tell me whats going on, cuz im about to junk the damn car

It sounds like a problem with your hydraulic fuel capacitor. Until you get it fixed, be very careful around left turns.

When the bearings were replaced was the crank shaft miked to see if worn out of tolerance? Then it should have had the journals plolished, miked again and the correct bearings picked to yield one tenth per inch of journal diameter. You should also have replaced the oil pump. The block should have had the oil passages rodded out, especially in the case of a previous bearing failure.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

Buy a used complete M20 for a couple hundred bucks and save yourself the grief.

Well, apparently everything wasn't as fine as it needs to be for new bearings to be a success. If the job had been done right, you wouldn't be having these problems now.

Your choices now are to pull the motor and rebuild it correctly, or to find a good used motor and put it in.

Swapping in a used M20 will be a lot easier than whatever you did the first time

this sounds liek a case of user error. If you dont follow the protocol or diagnose correctly or lack common sense. Every damn car will run to the ground when you try to fix it improperly.

only a blown head gasket have i head a knocking from the head. and that means you are over heating it... oil pump or hydraulic fuel capacitor. either way the more you drive it the more you are Fing up the engine.
