On a stock 87' 325is. what size are the injectors? i heard they are about 14.5lb injectors. is this correct? my question is, if i made the jump to 17lb or 19lb injectors with light mods (intake, maf conversion, and chip) would there be any harm? which would you reccomend?

Unless you've done something to significantly increase the mass flow through the engine, larger injectors aren't needed for an M20B25. If the fuel system is working correctly and the injectors are clean and flow at their design rate the engine can be tuned for a A/F ratio of 12.8:1, which is as rich as you'd want to go.The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.
