133whp most recently but theres something up with the engine physically because i was on a wee tuning session on the dyno and nothing i tried would make any real difference to peak numbers. i tried more/less advance and also more/less fuel but end results were always within a window of maybe 3hp of my 133whp run. bit like im hitting an invisible wall at 133whp.

        Currently E30-less

That's good power! Any plans for 2.7 conversion?

Numbers don't mean a lot by themselves as different brands on dynomometers produce diffeing results. Comparison the other cars on the smae dyno is much more meaningful. That said, my Spec E30 made 162hp/155tq on a DynoJet on a 100F day. The numbers would have been a bit higher on a cooler day. As an FYI, a Spec E30 is required by the rules to have bone stock engine and management system.

The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

Probably leave it as is. It is a bit of a classic car when it is its original trim.

                          m20b27 (stock eta) 320,000 miles
had a few issues at the time

Made 88Hp to the wheels at 4953 rpms ( stock ship )
Made 118 ft lbs of tq at 1800 rpms

This was done on a Mainline Dynolog
3rd gear pull till rev limiter
Only mod was a short ram intake and 87 oct. gas
few intake leaks , not sure what happened at 3700-4400 rpms

Funny how ppl wasy the eta loses power at 4300, i had peak at 4900

My 323i made 123whp at 5200rpm, It has slightly higher comp pistons from an e21 m20 (no idea of what it was) heavily ported AMC head and a reground cam of which i know not alot about.

Car was running L-jet but last track day did a bearing so out with the 2.3 and in with the 2.7 bottom end i had built last year, and at the same time Ill be converting to megasquirt/running 325i intake mani and m30 TB as well as a proper exhaust so it should be interesting to see what it makes then...
