There may be a way to make it work but no, you'd be much better off getting another i head.

while we're on the subject, if my eta head internals are worn out, could I have it rebuild with i internals? rather than swaping in an i head, to avoid the compression loss?

        *with an eta block.

The ETA head has smaller intake and exhaust ports and is missing some oil passages. I believe the oil passages can be drilled out, but the mass flow restrictions would cripple an M20B25 engine. The mass flow restrictions would limit the effectiveness of the head when used on an M20B27. I don't know if the valves would clear the pistons.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

no, you can't use a 200 head on a bottom head meant for an 885 head. The pistons will smash into the head.

nor would you ever want to do this.
