    rs4pro3 MS Kit - HELP

Does anyone have directions/parts list/schematics that were included in the purchase of a PnP MS kit from Ely? I am looking into buying a kit second hand kit w/o any directions.

Plug it in and Play with it. Just make sure you have a laptop with a serial port or USB to serial and MegaTune or whatever app to program it. Then use a basemap or go get it dynotuned.

There were directions included in each kit, just trying to hunt them down. I know its plug and play but some wiring DOES need changed. And i have to replace the TPS, add an air temp, and coil packs.

you could actually run it with a single stock coil to start with. I'd actually reccomend that. just set it to "single coil" instead of "wasted spark".

as for wiring, you need a wideband, TPS, and IAT. you can use the AFM's IAT. It's probably an MS1 V3.0 board, pretty basic, you can find all the info on the board wiring/schematics at www.msextra.com.

as far as the wiring between MS and the Motronic harness, I have no idea what he's done there. I've got my own chart that you can try comparing to his with a multimeter to see if you can nail it down closer:

Yeah, ive got most of that info. The wiring diagram you have charted is probably close, but thats whats holding me back.

well you can use a multimeter to figure out which pin on the motronic connector is connected to which pin on the DB37. Then we can figure out how it's set up.

Ah, yeah that makes it a bit more difficult.
