    Exciting news! Came up with an m52 crank. Going 2.8l. What is a basic 2.8l put down for Hp?
    also are the bearings the same? Still doing all the othor mods and a hone extruded manifold. Need hardware and crank spacer

      I had almost the exact same set up as you. 10:1 compression pistons, schick 288 cam, and a WAR chip. I bought injectors from an E36 that were 19lb. They worked BEAUTIFULLY. First of all the E36 injectors have 4 jets, as opposed to the E30's one which atomizes the fuel a lot better. The injectors should push a healthy 200HP. The car absolutely screamed to 7100 after installing those injectors. I don't have a wide-band O2 sensor to give you accurate readings as far as the air-fuel ratio, but from a driving stand point the 19lb/200cc injectors worked great!

              you can't use stock pistons with that crank, unless you use 130mm rods, but you still have to cut stuff to make it fit. I'd use the 2.8 M52 pistons and machine them to fit the M20. the crowns are super thick, so there's plenty of meat to do this. then you don't end up with a poopy rod ratio (and can use the M52 rods, which are better than M20 rods anyway).

              all small-6cyl bearings are the same. a basic 2.8? without headwork and running mostly stock electronics expect around 160-170whp. think about it - you're only increasing the displacement .3l. If you want a lot of power that comes from headwork and tuning, not a small increase in displacement. what the 84mm crank will do is broaden your torque curve.

                So no wide-band feedback, no dyno feedback, yet they worked great? Sure it's not a placebo effect?

                That's not much different than putting a cone filter on the end of the AFM/MAF and people claiming it makes more power, yet has been proven otherwise - just makes more noise.

                      can you elaborate on this? you could machine them to have two valve pockets and not four?

                        i am using a VAC stage 3 head with a schrick 288/272 cam, hone extrude manifold, miller psik+war chip. i am using 130mm rods with the maxsil over bore pistons. i was just wondering what people out there were getting.

                          major snag bavauto wont get my pistons for another month [i have been waiting since december.] sooooo im thinking screw it double down order the CP forged 85.5mm 10.25:1cr pistons from VAC.

                              S50 crank obtained from a fellow r3v member 86mm pistons ordered 3.0l stroker here we come. But back to the original question. Will 19lb injectors be enough for this setup?
