    What are your rpm. @70mph

I realize this may be a stupid question, and I would have searched... But, I just want to ask I finally have a working at after owning my 89 325i and Im at 33-3500rpm at 70. I would just like to know if this is normal or if I should look for a new diff because I do a lot of highway.
    Thank you in advance.
I love that people ask stupid questions so I dont have.

Sounds like you have a 4.10 diff. Yeah, that's "normal".

If you do alOt of highway 4.10 is not the right diff for you.

the S just denotes where it's an LSD or not.

            325i/is manual = 3.73
            325i/is auto = 4.10
            325e/es = 2.93 and 2.79
            318i/is = 4.10, and i thought some 318i cabrios came with a 4.33 iirc.

                    3500 with a 4.10 is 75 mph, not 70.
