Need another vac. line port on the intake manifold.

The cap on the intake manifold of my late model 325i has 1 vacuum port for the fuel pressure regulator. I need another manifold vacuum source (for megasquirt MAP sensor) and I am pretty sure I have seen an intake manifold cap with 2 or 3 vacuum ports on it from some other m20 (super eta?!?).

I looked at one from a 325e but it had a larger hole for the cold start injector and I dont want that.

Which years/models should I be looking at for this part? (RealOEM shows a generic intake manifold parts diagram which doesn't help)

Just drill a hole and thread in a 1/8 npt nipple fitting. Easy stuff

Not a bad idea, Thanks. I didn't think there would be enough meat to get enough thread for a good seal on NPT but I will take a look at it more closely if I cant source the part im looking for.

Ive got 2 drilled in that intake piece. It helps to put a little jb weld on the threads to seal and keep it tight.

there is a peice with two vac ports on it. Not sure why, but it seemed to come on random cars, and it was always blocked off. I traded one from my buddy's car since he didn't need it. plus it doesn't look backyard hackjob mechanic.

You have a hand dandy port on the bottom of the throttle body where the evap control valve goes. I'm guessing that you won't/can't implement that function with a MegaSquirt, the valve is going to do nothing.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

Early euro cars had them for an idle throttle adjustment. They also had a vac line running to the firewall for the valve. This may be the part number from real oem 11611708858

The throttle body is different too. The part number I posted above is for the plate you are asking here is the entire assembly.

Here it is on the car with the firewall mounted control unit.

No one makes this car anymore. The government won't allow them, normal people won't buy them. So it's up to us: the freaks, the weirdos, the informed. To buy them, to appreciate them, and most importantly, to drive them.
