Will a 318 fuel pump and filter fit on my 84 325e? I've looked everywhere and can't find anything on it.

I believe the 318/early 325 pumps are the same. Check the part numbers between the 2 chassis.
Plug in the last 7 of your VIN here - http://www.realoem.com/bmw/select.do

The filters are the same as well as the supply system. There would be an issue if your 318/325 was a later model but it isnt. As long as no one has retrofitted or updated anything in the fuel system, then everything from the 318 will work in the 325 and vice versa.

Sorry about that man. The problem with the early model fuel pump unit is that the fuel pump and level sender are on the same unit and the early system has a lift pump and a high pressure pump. In a late model, they have only one pump and the level sender is separate from the pump assembly.
The 318 pump can work but it takes a lot of retrofitting to make it operate correctly. You would need to delete the external pump and lines then trim the pump bracket that holds the pump inside the tank. Lots of work and in the end, you are still replacing the pump with a used piece.
