Can buy a Brand New Head from BMA???!?!?!

Has anyone bought the AMC new head from BMA:

Crazy, I didn't know you could still find brand new 885 heads. $800 doesn't seem that bad

Others will know better if thats considered an 885 head (I think it may be a 200) but it IS aftermarket for sure.

I could get you a brand new head from BMW, straight from Germany, for a grand.

$800 for an aftermarket head casting with no internals doesn't seem all that great to me.

Says the man who sells heads. I agree though. I'd rather buy Myster-e.

It's not even anything to do with me selling heads!

Just not a fan of the AMC heads in general. A rebuilt original head is a much better option.

the advantage of the AMC head is that if you run a good cooling system you wont have to worry about cracking for a very long time, in stock form they are not as good as the original surprise surprise but it can be made to work better with apparently more meat in it....ive seen factory 885 (not AMC 885) for about $1200 new

for shits and giggles i rang the local dealer and they wanted $3600 for a new head, and you think you guys get raped by the dealer we pay 3x what real OEM says

after that thread comparing the AMC heads to OEM, I would never buy an AMC head.
