Manual Radiator in a Manual-Swapped Car?

So why won't a manual-trans radiator work in an auto shell that's been manual swapped? I've read a bunch of threads about it, but they all say it simply can't be done. Is it physically too big/small? Upper/lower hose ports in a different location?

I obviously don't need that transmission fluid cooler portion anymore, and I hate that the radiator is a dead giveaway that the car's been swapped.

Wouldn't the manual radiator have a little more surface area (more efficient cooling) too?

it will work just fine. who said it wouldn't? 100% the same besides not having a trans cooler. there would be negligible cooling benefits, but it does make shopping easier!

Can you post the threads that said it would not work? There is absolutely no reason for it not to work.

it works. really. I swapped 5-spd swapped my e30, then later replaced the rad with a man-trans Mcoupe rad

I probably stumbled on some e30 know-it-all's who have never even had one.

you can put a automatic's radiator in a manual car but not the other way around.
            this part is true....

Oh I see what he meant, I thought he meant an auto shell that had been swapped. Aren't there plenty of automatic cars with no trans oil cooler?

every auto e30 has a trans oil cooler

manual cars can run either radiator with no issue

auto cars need one with oil cooler fittings

I meant cars in general, not necessarily e30's. Thanks for the info though.
