    A few ideas in my head

    Ok so i just finished my e to i engine swap and i just want to go faster..

    I have a stock m20b25 with longtube headers 2.5 inch stainless single exhaust and a lightend flywheel.

    I would loveee to swap in a m30 but i just finished swaping this motor in and do t jave time/money to swap in another engine.

    Wich brings me to my question, what is the best way to get some more horses with what i already have? I dont want a turbo or to take it apart and stroke it.

    I was thinking a mr. E head with a mild cam/miller maf/chip/k motors intake. Do you think i would gain noticable hp with this set up? Or is it not worth the time/money and i should just leave my car the way it is?

      I'm in about the same boat. e->i swap isn't as much power as I had hoped for.

      Whats your diff at? If you've still got the eta diff swap it for a 3.73/4.10

      I noticed a big difference with MarkD chip + M30 AFM and injectors. If I were to do it over again though I'd do miller MAF because of the junkyard-ness of the M30 MAF worries me.


      How many miles on the car btw?

        If you want a significant gain, forced induction is the only way on an m20.

          Andy- the engine has about 200k but nice cross hatch and a new hg+resealed.

          And yea i have a 3.73 and i like it i just want more low end torque cause my car scrsams abkve 3500.

          And taco man i knew someone would say this i just dont have the funds for fi

            Well my car has 156whp & 152wtq on stock 200k+ engine 3.73 diff, lightened oem flywheel, F1R PP & clutch, 2.5" single straight through exhaust to a stock muffler. Tuning is Key! Car is tuned on megasquirt, no AFM, 2.75" short intake

                I thought mega squirt was for fi or stroker engines? I never heard of anyone using for a almost stock m20.

                And is it just the cam or a whole head?

                  The red line is with the stock motronic, Blue line is with the megasquirt plugged in with a street tune. the runs are like 5minutes apart. Just got out the stock motronic and plugged in the MS1.

                  The second dyno pic is fully tuned same mods, but without AFM

                      that's a pretty poor motronic tune!!! when i did my 3.1L on stock motronic it wasnt that bad
                      89 E30 325is Lachs Silber - currently M20B31, M20B33 in the works, stroked to the hilt...

                        Thats not a tune, just how I bought the stock car, Í had the megasquirt before the car was bought so I never gave the motronic a chance.

                        What about the last tune on the b25?
