    I guess both...

The I intake manifold is different, with larger ports, and should be swapped in at the same time as an 885 I head.

And I would also recommend a compete I exhaust, including the exhaust manifolds, cat assembly, and muffler. It will flow better and sound better than the e single pipe exhaust.

Edit: I see what you're asking about. If you stick with the eta and decide to go with the chip/diff/exhaust route, I would go with the I exhaust manifolds/cat/muffler.

So any e30 I car will have these? I will definitely snag the headers and exhaust. I may also grab the diff while I'm at it. I am also snagging a shifter out of a Z3.

I may go ahead and snag the I head too, I have ported and polished a lot of heads. I would just simply clean the castings up wouldn't remove any material because on paper those heads look pretty good.

But this is a maybe, I will prob just do the easy stuff this year because I want to get rid of all the gremlins and paint it in the spring. Diff, exhaust, intake, chip, from what your saying I would prob be happy with that.

The diff you want for to upgrade an eta is actually out of an e28 5 series. 325i's have 3.73 diff's which are too tall for an eta.

The e28 is the car that looks like our e30's but bigger right? It has the round headlamps etc...

Well shucks all they have is a 1983 5 series so I won't be nabbing one of those lol.

be wary of using an I intake manifold on the 200 head the step down will be nasty. id only swap manifold etc if the head gets done to

Roger that. I have decoded to just do exhaust, chip and a K&N filter and grab a better rear diff.
