    Oil leak.. ***pics****

I think I have 2 oil leaks. I know one is probably the oil filter housing and I don't know about the other. The other leak is very thick build up in the front top right of the engine. I'm thinking it may be the crankshaft seal? Please help. One if you may save me money. Thanks

Your first step should be to clean the side of the block, and then start the engine to see where the oil appears. For sure the seal in the oil filter housing is leaking. That repair can be a bitch in the car, but at least there is no AC compressor in the way. I suspect the oil pressure sender is leaking also. Hard to say what might be causing the leak farther up the engine, but valve cover gasket, rocker shaft plugs and cam seal are all suspects. Crank seal maybe, but that lower timing cover doesn't look wet enough. Your pan gasket looks a little dodgy, too--the RTV gods have left a deposit.

Thanks! Where is oil pressure sender?

Follow that wire you have zip tied to the block to find the oil pressure sender.

Definitely the oil filter housing seal. Mine is leaking also. Haven't gotten a quote on how much it would cost to replace yet.

When's the last time you've done a cam seal? They like to seep down that side of the block.

I have never done one on this engine. Guess it's time to replace that seal. And my oil filter housing seal is def leaking.
