Anyone know where I can find new rocker shafts

They are NLA from the dealer and all aftermarkets have dried up (unless you've got some guy who has them stashed in a back room). I am working on having a batch made, but nothing firm yet. Will update tomorrow.

I'm looking at March 10th, but that's tentative until I've got them in my hands.

Dumb question but when is it required to change them? I reused mine.

They get bent if the timing belt breaks.

I bought the last 3 from WorldPac a few months ago, had to break an eta head down to pirate the fourth I needed :(

Looking forward to being able to get them again.

the bushings on the rockers are bronze, so theoretically they don't wear out. but sometimes they get bent somehow, or a monkey disassembles the head and uses a hammer to get them out.

That too. It's even worse when they put the head back together like that and they don't come out easily later. Generally they will come out by hand when the rockers are slid off the cam lobes.

I may have sourced some OEM BMW rocker shafts, but will update once I receive them. I was just about to give up when I found them...hoping they are the real deal.

.... crossing fingers for you. I had checked with the OEM dealer network and there were none with the part marked NLA. Sounds like you found someone with a stash!

Nope, the source fell through as expected. Skifree, are yours being made as we speak? Put me down for 2 if they turn out ok.

Might have found another stash overseas...but would be over $100 each!

SkiFree, would yours be cheaper than that?

Damn, so happy I have 2 new OEM ones stashed in my closet for the last 1.5 years....Cant believe they are NLA from BMW.
