Stupid thought.....so I know the i head is better in every way except the combustion chamber is bigger. So can you put the springs and cam from an i motor in a eta cylinder head and run it on an i motor. Compression ratio would raise slightly but the only thing that made me think of this is, is because eta heads are cheap as hell.

pretty sure the domed m20b25 pistons will hit the eta head89 E30 325is Lachs Silber - currently M20B31, M20B33 in the works, stroked to the hilt...

Eta heads are cheap for a reason. They are not desirable.
You CAN modify an Eta head by porting/polishing to match i gaskets and drilling oil journals to make some good power but it would need to be paired with the Eta bottom end. It's a lot of work though.Comment
