Port on throttle body... Hose came out?

I filled up on gas today and tried to start my car and it would just start then sputter off. There was a huge whooshing sound so I figured there was a massive vacuum leak. Popped the hood and found this hose popped out of the throttle body. There really doesn't seem to be anything holding it in. Is there a way to secure it?

Usually it's just a snug fit. I think the vacuum pressure helps hold it in. If yours is loose, a little gasket sealer would probably help.

Yeah I've driven 1500 miles since I bought it and haven't had any issues until now. I'll try that. Thanks!

            Hey,
Don't pick on cheap people. Jb weld works really well for this problem.

I wouldn't use JB weld. A bit too permanent. Gasket sealer will be removable if needed.

I use that non-hardening window gasket sealer. That tar stuff you find holding the moisture barrier on newer car doors.

Mine is permanently put on there with some type of automotive cementing adhesive, I can't remember.
There's no reason ever to remove it from the throttle body anyways when servicing your car. The rubber hose it's connected to can come off instead.

Yeah, zip ties around the throttle body holds them all in place.
